Our Services

Working alongside clients, designers, and consultants, Alissa delivers timeless, functional gardens and design solutions created for the way people actually live.

Landscape Design

Gardens and landscapes designed in response to architecture, site and daily life. With a background across both Architecture and Landscape Architecture, Alissa treats the garden as part of the house rather than something arranged around it. Projects range from a single courtyard to an entire property, concept through to planting.

Design Consulting

Strategic design input and guidance for homeowners, designers and builders. Suited to projects that call for an early read on a site, a second set of eyes, or considered direction without a full scope of works.

3D Visualisation

For many, drawings can be difficult to interpret. Three-dimensional models allow spaces to be understood before they are built. Visualisation is integrated throughout the design process where it adds value, helping clients make informed decisions with confidence rather than relying on imagination alone.

Our projects typically begin with an on-site consultation, read more about it here.

Our Process

01   Consultation

An in-person meeting at the property to understand the site, the goals and the scope. A written brief and fee proposal follow. More information on our consultation process below.

02   Concept Design

Plans, sketches, reference imagery and a planting approach. Where it helps, the space is modelled in three dimensions so it can be understood before anything is committed to. By the end of this stage the layout, materials and mood are settled.

03   DOCUMENTATION

Detailed plans, elevations, setout dimensions and specifications: the drawing set a builder prices and builds from. Where a project requires planning approval, that documentation is prepared and lodged as part of the same stage.

04   Delivery

Site visits through construction, conversations with the builder as questions arise, plant selection and procurement, and styling once the hard work is done. How closely the practice stays involved is set by the project and the client.

On-site Consultation

An in-person meeting at the property to understand what's possible for the space. Our projects typically begin with an on-site consultation.

Is this for you?

  • You're considering a renovation, extension or new build and want an honest read on the site.
  • You have a garden or property you want to see done well, but don't yet have a clear brief.

What’s involved

Before we meet

Alissa reviews what you've shared about the property, along with anything relevant to the site: its zoning, any overlays, and other planning considerations.‍

On site

You walk the property together and talk through your goals, the site's conditions and constraints, and where the real opportunities are.

After the visit

You'll receive a short written summary of what was discussed, the opportunities and constraints identified, and a general sense of next steps and scale of costs. A design brief and fee proposal follow from here.
